Hats off to Blog of the Century‘s Benjamin Landy, who shows that America finishes dead last among industrialized countries when it comes to guarantees about taking days off from work for holidays and weekends. Notes Landy: “Americans now work an average 122 hours more per year than their Anglophone counterparts in Britain, and 378 hours more than the industrious Germans.”
